Inoue’s works, created by layering colours and materials, have a sophisticated atmosphere and a warm feeling due to the texture of each piece. The late summer has passed, and the wind feels like autumn. Please come and visit the exhibition.
In the atelier throughout the year, the sun shines through the trees and reflects on the floor and walls with a whispering sound. To be more aware of the shadows, I created a three-dimensional collage work so that it could be more aware of the shadows. I am very much looking forward to seeing how they will change in the evam eva space.
Art gallery diorama at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. The gallery space, which was renovated from an old factory site, is furnished with antiques that move the owner, as well as furniture and art pieces that he creates himself, arranged in a comfortable space that seems to quietly tell the story of each object. The exhibition is entitled Row Interior, which refers to the fusion of ancient, modern and original materials to create a space that expresses ‘decaying beauty’. The exhibition also features the work of photographer Masao Yamamoto, who captures the beauty of things that exist in diorama. The exhibition will feature the beauty of timeless objects and a refined spatial composition. Please come and see the exhibition.

The shape of the silent sound emanating from light and shadow.
From April 8 (Sat), we are pleased to present “Words of the Forest,” a solo exhibition by printmaker / artist Makoto Matsubayashi. Makoto Matsubayashi lives in Kochi and creates prints and drawings.Lines drawn without hesitation and layers of vivid colors. His free and generous works give viewers a refreshing feeling. We met in Kochi several years ago, and when he stopped by Yamanashi during his trip in early summer of the year before last, he made drawings that filled the walls of the gallery. The budding trees, the light from the window, and the early summer breeze were all in his mind when he painted this mural. It is now lying under the wall. The new work, “Words of the Forest,” will be superimposed on the wall. In this exhibition, about 30 works based on the color silver will be on display, including new works. We hope you will experience the “words” contained in each of them.
