オーストリアPapier Langackerhäuslとのコラボ作品
京都府 綾部市を拠点とし和紙を制作。手漉きの紙は豊かな表情をもち、絵画や箱、部屋の壁紙として様々な表現の可能性を広げられています。和紙の原料となる楮の栽培も手掛けられている和紙職人 ハタノワタルさん。evam eva yamanashi 形での個展は約 3 年ぶりの開催となり、今展では和紙や土、顔料などが幾層にも重なり合いできた「積み重なったもの」シリーズや「山」 をテーマにした絵画作品が並びます。その作品からは、自然から得たもののうつくしさと強さ、そして昔から続いてきた伝統的な和紙の魅力を自身の表現で魅せる職人の技術を感じます。この機会にぜひ足をお運びください。
Based in Ayabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, he produces washi paper. His handmade washi has a rich expression, and he is expanding its possibilities for various expressions such as paintings, boxes, and room wallpapers. Hatano Wataru is a washi craftsman who also grows kozo, the paper mulberry used to make washi. This is his first solo exhibition at evam eva yamanashi Katachi in about three years. The exhibition will feature paintings on the theme of “mountain” and the “piled up things” series, which are made of layers of washi paper, soil, pigments, etc. The works show the beauty and strength of nature, and the skill of the craftsman who uses his own expression to showcase the charm of traditional Japanese paper, which has been handed down from generation to generation.
